[NON-ISSUE]Map is missing in inventory (Category: Gameplay)

When I begin with ep 3 the map is gone from inventory, but I can still get on ship and travel like I still have it.  Is this normal?

It is. You only needed the map for the puzzle with Ali in Episode 2--it's different from the map you use when sailing with Hassan. At the beginning of Episode 3, Graham decides to leave behind some items he doesn't think he'll need.
