The other playable character

So the Jan 24 news post (I can't find a way to perma-link it) mentioned that there would be a second playable character in Episode 5.  My guess is that that character is ...

EDIT:  I realize that this game was designed by Jane Jensen fans, and in Jensen's games significant characters can die or have otherwise tragic outcomes so ...

That would be fun - we'd get to hear more of Katie! Maybe she could defeat Shadrack by shouting at him. :P

:rofl: Katie, you need to be the voice of a main character for an upcoming POStudios game, using that same voice. I'm serious. Wouldn't it be awesome if the lieutenant was the new playable character?

It turns out that Lt. Shorty is actually the product of an illicit affair between Valanice and Saladin. That's her "dirty little secret"! XD

It has to be Edgar. He's been lounging around the in past few episodes. About time he made himself useful as practically the newest member of the family. I always wanted to use his fairy magic on someone.

They'd have to do an impressive job with him, because he doesn't feel like lead character material. I'd personally like to play the Ranger :) THAT would be awesome

I can see it being Valanice, or Cassima, Edgar. Likely Valanice, since she's become such a focus character.

[EDIT] Or Connor, as some have suggested. It would be nice if the team fit the Mask plot line into this overall narrative a bit better.

ACTUALYL- what would TRUELY be badass, would be playing a Black cloak member- like Manannan. As much as we all hate him, perhaps there could be a playable thing in team evil? That'd be a REAL surprise in a King's Quest game- playing team evil.
