I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with the load times with Episode 3.  Both 1 and 2 run perfectly on my computer but Episode 3 has a lot of lag.  I downloaded the program from the bundle instead of the patch and it still seems to lag at least 15 seconds between scenes.  Is there a patch for this in the works?  I cut down on the graphics and it still has the issue.  Thanks for all your help!

Sounds to me like it might just be your computer.  I had issues with crashing, but none with lag.
I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.

Here are my computer specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8300 @ 2.40GHz
Total Physical Memory 4.00 GB
Maximum Supported Memory 4.00 GB

Chipset Intel GL960/GM965/PM965
Southbridge Intel 82801HBM (ICH8M)

I've got the same exact problem.  Episode 1 and 2 had no loading issue whatsoever... but with Episode 3 I get a good 10-15 second delay whenever I change rooms.  To make things more interesting, the mouse cursor stops responding for 3-5 seconds during this time.  All we can do is just grin and bear it.  I'm sure Phoenix Online Studios is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it.

Chuckles:  I highly doubt it's the OP's computer.  The OP's video card (Geforce 8600M GT) should be sufficient for the version of Torque that TSL is using.  Furthermore, he/she is talking about load times while changing rooms (he/she uses the word "scene" instead of room... means the same thing though).  Additionally, I'm experiencing the exact same issue and I'm using the following setup:

Operating System:  Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2
Processor:  AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz
Total Physical Memory:  4.00 GB
Maximum Supported Memory:  3.20 GB
ATI Radeon 5770 1 GB (running Catalyst 11.2)

Also, it should be noted that most of the crashes I experienced with Episode 3 happened while changing rooms.  Most people who have talked about Episode 3's stability have mentioned this as well.  I have a sneaking suspicion the two are connected somehow.  Perhaps a memory leak or some kind of issue with the resource pipeline?  Episode 3 does have a lot of engine-side changes that Episode 1 and 2 did not have.  It's not out of the realm of possibility that one of those changes has caused something to break or otherwise not function properly.

Yeah looking at those specs, I doubt it is the computers problem.  As for crashes, I have had the same issues when changing screens.  I have not however experienced lag.  I just hope they can resolve some of this for future episodes.

Yeah some of these issues are likely just because we've done so much tweaking of the engine we use that we're seeing some things come up that we just created without even realizing it.  We're definitely going to do everything we can for Episode 4's release to stabilize things.
