It's also nice to see that TSL continued the KQ tradition of mixing the last 700 years of European fashion (it would have been weird if TSL were consistent, considering that the original games are not). For example, in KQ4, Rosella dresses like she came out of Italy around 1400, in KQ7 she dresses like ... well, to be honest she dresses like a Disney fairy tale character, but I think the closest match to real-life fashion would be 1890s (that's a stretch though)... and in TSL she's wearing a wedding dress from the second half of the 20th century. Valanice likewise jumps forward in time - in KQ 7 she dresses like she's from 1200 or 1300, and in TSL she's dressed like she's from 1750. Yes, I studied this in college... and I don't think it's a bad thing that the fashion timeline is mixed up, it contributes to my amusement, just as it does in the original games.
