Well, if I have to design a background, I also need to have her interacting with it, so a simple background may just be a colour wash / gradient / pattern. A complex background is also like those Art Nouveau designs. I think I'm doing the Character portraits around $15, but those are based on digital finishes cause most that buy them don't want to spend alot- they just want a visual referance of the character. This is for a static/mundane pose
Here's a sort of example I did of a lineart. The final product will be coloured (I didn't get around to colouring this one as the DND campaign finished.) The theory is, I'll email a high res which you can print off. If you want an original, then it'd be a different set of pricing.
