QuoteMordack's castle.Seconded. Creepy angel statues, gothic archways, corridors entirely filled with giant looming skulls, a bed guaranteed to give you nightmares, the most fantastic looking evil library ever - what's not to love (in a completely weird and manical way)?
Mordack's castle.
The main problem would be transport, though. How would you get to the ground from all the way up there?
I agree it's pretty though The main problem would be transport, though. How would you get to the ground from all the way up there?
Pillars on top of pillars? Surely that's a dangerous idea. Because then you might experiment with pillars upon pillars upon pillars... or try to construct some sort of pillar-singularity...I agree it's pretty though The main problem would be transport, though. I'm still hoping that we can get a hot air balloon ride up there, as the Four Winds mentioned a while ago.

But will you have smaller elevators built into the pillars on top of the pillar?
In 1808, two Frenchmen are said to have fought in balloons over Paris, each attempting to shoot and puncture the other's balloon; one duellist is said to have been shot down and killed with his second.
Thirty-five years later in 1843, two men are said to have fought a duel by means of throwing billiard balls at each other.
Or a spiral staircase around the upper pillars. I haven't decided yet.
