I had a really awesome dream in which I fulfilled my life-long ambition of wearing a tiara. :P And then Darthkiwi and I made a pillow-fort and blocked off all parts of the room that had access to a window or a door. :D That was fun and lucid. :P I think I've only had about three or four lucid dreams.

that sounds nice ... xD

happy dreams are great! Now and then I dream that I am able to "fly". If I raise my arms, I can actually glide over the lands... Of course, I have to start from a high point, so the whole gliding is actually making any sense... Anyhoo, it is just amazin, and every time I wake up and find out it was just a dream I am really pissed for a whole day...

Flying dreams are fun. I had one last night. :P Do you have them regularly? :)

I have heard that it is possible to read in dreams, but that if you look away from the thing you're reading and then look back, the writing will change.

This is generally how I find out that my nightmares about being back in high school are dreams (though I haven't had one of those for a while).

A couple times, I managed to use this to turn the dream into a lucid dream. It did not end well for my high school.

The trick to flying is to throw yourself at the ground and miss. ;)

I wish I had them more often, but I've had some. I can't say I have a flying dream once a month, but I'm sure I'll have another one one day ...

 It's really kind of ironic. In PE, I would miss the goal or the basketball basket every time, but I'd always hit the ground even if I try not to ;)

In case you didn't know, that was a Douglas Adams quote. :D

My weirdest dream ever was from a night when I was...about 10, I think? And has consumed 6.5 cans of pepsi before going to bed. It involved:

- my friends & I were in some kind of scavenger hunt that spanned all the world over for a variety of items, including but not limited to:
   - various beads
   - a rock that looked like Jordan Knight's head (from the New Kids on the Block) which was somewhere in the Grand Canyon

- scaling a large mountain-type thing and collecting some of those beads on the way up
- a friend of mine getting one of the last ones, then turning into a cartoon bird with images of storm clouds in her eyes (somehow, this meant she dying or something)
- my mom stepping in when this happened and saying (and I quote!), "Take me instead, but let the girls play forever!"
- I wake up crying, because my mom apparently just died, and that's bad, so I went back to sleep to fix it
- I don't know how I did, but somehow I did
- then there was something about being stuck in a locked off portion of a wagon that was part of some traveling circus or something
- escaping that...somehow

I don't remember the rest. But my friend who also had 6.5 cans of Pepsi before bed had some crazy dreams as well, where the New Kids on the Block would frequently just appear randomly and start playing.

It was 1990. The New Kids were the big hot thing! We were fangirls!

Last night's was weird. :P

It was like a LucasArts game. :P There were commands at the bottom of the screen. :P But there was also a text parser and the writing was blood-red. ::) Oh, and it was first person. I broke into a mansion and attacked a deity called an Ouk. :P I was then made to carry out random deeds for said Ouk. :P Afterwards I went back to the dream-city and talked to everyone about said deity. :P I also picked up inventory items, one of which was a pin, which I used to get people's attention. I poked them because they kept ignoring me. They were less than amused. XD  And the narrator was horrible and passive-aggressive and kept stating the obvious. XD And the entire thing was riddled with Greek, especially the names. XD

 That so sounds like something from a dream.  Isn't it funny how when you're dreaming, you remember those crazy lines and they make perfect sense in context?

Okay, so I just took a little nap and had a pretty weird dream. I still remember a lot, so it's pretty long, but here we go:

I was in a car with my mom, dad, sister, grandmother and my youth minister's wife (very random). We had just stopped at Little Caesar's and the wife had bought a pizza and breadsticks for her family (I guess we were taking her home for some reason) and we had just stopped at Burger King for food for our family. We're driving through our town and we stop at a Big Lots store which is not where Big Lots actually is in our town (for those who don't know, Big Lots is a discount store chain; like Ollie's if you've ever heard of that), and we went inside, which perplexed my sister and me (because we already had food; why are we stopping?).

When we got inside, instead of a store, it was a huge PGA convention. There were golf things everywhere set up in little alcoves for your perusal. My grandmother was getting ready to walk down some stairs and ended up running into the median because she was looking the other way and I wasn't warning her about the median loud enough for her to hear me. On the ground floor, one of the booths had people on weird-looking exercise machines that were supposed to help improve your swing or something like that; it was all very strange. Then my glasses broke and one of the screw was plastic and super huge and I tried to put them back together (and succeeded) while my mom stood around singing something I can't remember.

The next thing I remember is that the scene had changed, but it's incredibly.....bizarre. For a little bit, it was like I was watching an episode of Digimon Xros Wars where this kid I don't know used makeup on his face to make him look like a girl and then called different people to come and see him; one of those people being a character and one of his Digimon from Xros Wars, and the other being a couple kids from Digimon Tamers. When they all gathered together, I was then there with them with the understanding that my parents had dropped me off, and I had a large suitcase with me.

Several things that are muddled now happened, and then we were cleaning up to leave. These two kids picked up my suitcase and tried to pack it, but I told them to leave it because I was going to call my parents to come get me, then the one kid apologized because his doctor said he had an eye condition that made him see double of everything. As I began to pick up trash off the ground, my iPod, working, was lying there, so I pushed play and Never Shout Never's cover of Bye Bye Bye started playing, despite the fact that iPod Nano's don't have external speakers.

Then I had to go throw some stuff away, but couldn't find a trash can, so I had to run down the whole block, enter in someone's yard through a gate, then enter into something like a sub-yard through another gate, use a trashcan, then run from a dog (he appeared out of nowhere and made me scream, even though he was a pretty small thing) all the way through the gates and back to everyone. Then I said goodbye to the kid who called us all there, and discovered that it was now a kid I know from summer camp back in high school.

Then I woke up.

Tl;dr: I have really weird dreams. :P
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

That's so unfair. :( How come I never have dreams about assaulting and becoming enslaved to the personification of the Greek "No"? :(
