Ok, some may already be aware of this, but for those that aren't, last night, Cartoon Network premiered a reboot of the Thundercats series. The original show was from the 80's and geared towards children; the reboot is geared for a more adult audience. My thoughts on the premiere? freaking amazing. They did a good job with this one. My only gripe is the fact that the premiere left out the intro, but hopefully that will be back next week. Other than that, I thought the premiere was pretty good. Did anyone else catch the premiere? if so, what did you all think? As usual, all sensitive plot information will be in spoiler tags.

[spoiler]anyone notice references to the original series? I saw at least two: at the beginning, one of the salvaged pieces of technology is the hand of a Ro-Bear Berbil. And later, one of the people in the watch tower was Linxo, a blind character introduced in the second season of Thundercats. they also gave Groon, a character who appeared once in the original series, a much expanded plot. he's now a recurring character I believe.
