So has anyone played this game?
If you didn't know its a port made by Revolution Software for the Amiga system. It's probably the best port of a Sierra game to the system. Part of the reason is that the port was made from the ground up, Revolution took assets from the original game, and converted it into their own Virtual Theatre engine. This means the menus are bit different, among other things. There are several puzzle differences throughout the game, and some puzzles removed. The points list has been modified to reflect that, but still adds up to 231.
One of the big differences is that the long path is a variation of the short path (though the short path still exists). Instead of entering into the dungeons, Alexander enters through the castle 'Kitchen' under the staircase! Alexander still gets the genie's lamp, but he gives the fake lamp to Jollo in the bookstore instead, before entering the castle.
I noticed while watching through the youtube long play, that the the Cliffs of Logic has been shortened to three puzzles. The first puzzle oddly enough is the Stones of Stealth. My question, is if the stones of stealth is at the base of the cliff, what happens if you click on the third stone?
Secondly, was the Guidebook for this version written differently, to reflect the physical differences in the puzzles?
