Last time I got excited over game music was in Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Especially the part that is used during Commando inspired overhead truck levels, because it's not from the original Bionic Commando. It's a remix of the Commodore 64 version of the Commando music by Rob Hubbard that itself is a remix of the original arcade game. How's that for being meta.

Firstly, the search function is screwed. It is borderline useless. You can barely search for *anything* and get the thread you want; you're more likely to get a jumble of randomly ordered posts which may date back to 2003.

Secondly, I'm certain I either posted that video myself or intended to post it (and saw someone else had already done it). I posted it again because I couldn't be bothered to dig through thousands of threads looking for the old music thread, and thought it would be easier to create a new post from scratch which might be appreciated by some, even if most people had already seen the older thread.

The other day, when I posted Katie's Codex costume picture, I was shocked that I was actually able to find it with a search! :o

An indie game came out on Steam recently by the name of Sequence. It's an interesting concept, considering it's a mix between the music rhythm genre and an RPG. The songs in the game are apparently written by independent artists and are just used for the "battles" in the game. Once I heard one of the songs, I was sold. I'll probably pick the game up today along with some other games. Here's one of the songs that got me hooked.

Loui - Ronald Jenkees

Freudian Slip - "When you say one thing, but mean your mother."
