I saw this today. The graphics look very much like Love for Sail. At least Al Lowe is back on board, Box Office Bust was pretty disastrous. I'm just worried that mainstreaming the Larry remake will make for a tamer game.

::) Seems fangame fans only get worried when a series is brought back officially.

Looks awesome.  I wouldn't worry about a tamer Larry.  The Larry of 1987 is tame compared to what's out there now.

Oh god, I am so excited for this. Seriously, I can't wait. I want this to be successful so people will maybe start to realize that Adventure Games are good.

So, it's a remake of a remake of a reboot of a text adventure?

If the remake is successful the rest of the games will be remade.

Especially for those of us who have HBO, or . . . you know, the internet.

I happened to know there was something going on with the Larry license. Had an exchange of emails a while back with Al Lowe, and he mentioned something briefly. I'm pretty glad it's getting off the ground!

Everybody did (or had the potential to) from the news articles that had been posted about it months ago. Unless you were discussing it before that.

It was before. I actually remember now. I heard it first from Martin Kool, and then Al mentioned it. This was around Februrary/March. I think the news went public in June.

That sounded a bit snobby though. Thing is, I don't know why, but I get the scoop on things without even really looking for it.
