[NOT-FIXED]cant turn off music (Category: Audio)

hi
i have set the music volume to 0 and still i can hear music.(i have the two households(eps 2) download)
is there a way to completely mute music?

Have you tried modifying the music volume in both the in-game settings and using the configuration tool?  After applying the changes if you go back into the options does it keep the slider all the way to the left?

Also, I'm moving this thread to technical support.

yes i did it both in in-game settings and using the configuration tool.
and yes it stays all the way to the left after saving it.
but i still hear music in the background.

i am running xp

tell me
in the episode 3 download i.e. Full Build of Episodes 1, 2 and 3 can i turn off music completely?
has anyone tested it?
if so i will download it.

i havent played any of the episodes (but i have the episode 2 full build) and i want to.(without music).

Is it turning down at all or does it seem like the slider just isn't doing anything for you?

yes its turning down
but its playing faintly
but i have cranked up the volume to hear the voice so loud that the music is audible.
tell me in the full build of epi 3, is there this problem?
or can i completely disable music .
tell me so i can download it

Oh yeah that's actually a known thing that we're aware of.  It's something odd in the engine itself that it doesn't actually totally shut off the audio.  We're not sure why but we're seeing if we can fix it for Episode 4.

Yeah it's in all current versions of the game.
