I'm having the same problem with 32-bit Vista and I played from scratch using the complete version.

I'm experiencing the Episode 3 finale crash as well.  It may be worth noting that it occurs regardless of whether you acquire the silver moon in Crowntown or the salt from Mother Nature's grove as your final item.  The work-around suggested below was my first thought, did it even before reading it here.  The cartoon starts about 90 seconds in; you won't miss a thing.  HD video quality as well.

I'm having a similar problem here as well, but mine extends to trying to load episode 4 directly. I get through the recap and then I'm pretty sure the intro cutscene of Rosella and Shadrack is buggy. Rosella is utterly frozen and doesn't move at all while I hear dialogue and see Shadrack moving around. Then it goes to load the game with Graham in the castle foyer and then does nothing but sit there. If I click my mouse it pops up with a "Would you like to skip this cutscene" question. I click yes and the game force closes.

I've tried turning the game's graphic settings down as low as possible but that does nothing to help. I'm running XP, but the pass episodes worked just fine with it. (I had force closes upon occasion, I just treated it like the old school games and saved every four seconds just in case.)

Any ideas?

Yeah that didn't help. I got the exact same thing after going through all the trouble to lose my saved data by uninstalling and reinstalling the full game.

I'll come back some other month in the hopes you guys have fixed this but I won't be holding my breath.

It's probably picking something up that the patch process missed when you reinstall it - try that process again but when you run the installer again when it asks for a directory change it to just C:\TSL instead of the Program Files one it tries to default to.

Can you guys put the full episodes 1-3 download back up? I can't find it on the website and at least it'll give an option for people who want to be able to play Episode 3 and can't.

I, personally, don't feel the need to have episode 4 installed before I complete episode 3. XD
