Probably might be the only one asking this......... but what are the chances of the AMAZING :smitten: soundtrack having some form of sheet music release, even if only in digital format??

I may well be asking for something that is well beyond likely but, being a piano player who plays simply for enjoyment, I would absolutely !!love!! to get my hand on piano arrangments of the soundtrack. Even if only select songs (such as Something Wicked This Way Comes or Such Stuff as Dreams are Made On) are released, I know I would definitely be first in line to learn how to play them!

I don't know how many others here agree with me but I know I don't want to miss out on any chance to bring the King's Quest world into my personal reality! :guitar: I love this fan-made conclusion to the story ('though with Telltale now on the case, it might not be so for much longer. Hoping they take this story into the canon :deal:) and am also one of many depressed at the loss of the original 9 chapters (hoping the original drafts didn't find their way into the recycle bin!)!

Loving the work you guys have done and hoping to see much much more from you! Especially Austin Haynes! :iluvu:

We don't have sheet music for the soundtrack. Would you believe Austin can't read or write music sheets???!! I know!

But if you love Austin's work, you can hear the main theme for Cognition here:

Just scroll down to update number four. There is a video file and an audio file with the main theme for our next game.

He also has a solo album called The Evening Light. Here:

Seriously? Wow! Unbelievable.

If you want, I can transcribe the music for him.

That's an interesting coincidence, I was just messing around on the piano yesterday playing the beginning of winged ones' theme (thought it was a catchy tune).

Wow, I assume that means he was self-taught! If indeed I am right, then it takes exceptional skill to take that and create music with it! Of course, he could just be very skilled anyway ;D. After listening to the Cognition theme, I have only one thing to say: Somewhere, Somehow, we need to get Mr. Haynes to learn how to write sheet music!

I seriously believe we could consider something like this! Any help is help indeed, especially with something fan-made!

It was by ear. I'm good at picking out the right notes that way, though I have trouble with complex chords, especially lower frequency (bass) ones, so I don't think I'd get too far with my transcribing effort. Music isn't my main talent, but I still find it interesting and put the effort in.

Most musicians can't read or write sheet music these days.  A computer does all the work for them - many film "composers" can't read or write it either, they have someone tabulate it out for them so an orchestra can perform it.  Not all, but many - a rising job available out there is for musical transcriptionists.
