Wait a tick... if KQ9 is just around the corner from being released... the creators MUST know who won this contest already... or else... how would the game be released without the winner being in the game itself?

Or...they know how long it will take to include the person in the game, so they have taken it into account with the announcement of the release date.

Or they already voted on the charactors and the result was so unanimous that the one director's vote from the Charactor Contest Winner poll won't change anything and they're already working on incorporating the charactor.

P.S. If this is not true, how would they incorporate the charactor in as the script is already finished?

They could've had the line/lines already written with *insert character contest winner name here* on the script, if the character has a speaking part...or one of the main characters speak to the person who wins the contest. Remember, this game has been in development for quite a while, and I'm sure the writers (Cesar and Katie) already took all of this into account.

I thought about that, but then the lines would have to be pretty flexible and wouldn't really bring out much of the charactors uniqueness, unless they would slightly modify the script.

The winning character will actually add something to the script, but this addition isn't going to affect the storyline or plot in any major way.
