[FIXED]game crushes when i try to restore in ep 4 (Category: Save/Load)

after getting the key in the maze i try to save but than the game crushes and it does it every time i try to load it. if i start the ep again it works fine. i thing my save game file gone bad. what should i do i dont want to start all over again....

Do you have any other saves just before this one that started crashing on you?

Are you able to look in that actual folder on your computer where the save is and see how big it is?  A couple of people have had a really random bug at that part of the game where the save file suddenly becomes way bigger than it should be.

my save file is 1.6 GB!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that's quite a bit larger than it should be, it looks like it totally flipped out for some reason so unfortunately there's not much of anything I can do to fix that one for you, sorry!

i got the richest fruit in the world and got the key to the lock in the maze hust searching for the lock.

I'll attach a save in a little bit. I'll be avoiding anything that isn't directly getting the fruit and the key because I don't know what you have and haven't triggered.

Ok this save should have you with the key and the fruit. You may need to go back and gather certain items and trigger certain cutscenes/conversations again because I did only the things I needed to do to get the key and the fruit.

Also, try not to save in the hedge maze if you can. I've gotten a corrupt save saving in there as well. Make sure to keep backup saves every once in a while to avoid losing a lot of progress like that.
