Song of the moment...
« on: May 11, 2004, 02:29:44 PM »
This thread is just to fire out whatever song might be on your mind at the time.  It can be a song stuck in your head, a song that's meaningful....whatever suits your fancy.  And you can obviously have more than one, also.

Format is pretty simple:

Song -> Artist (add the album name if you so desire)

Also feel free to share a line or two of the lyrics if you so desire.

I will obviously start...

Climbing Up The Walls -> Radiohead
Pyramid Song -> Radiohead
Just look at me,
I'm living proof that,
TIME HEALS NOTHING!

I've had

Breathe -> Melissa Etheridge
Run Away -> Live
Flood -> Jars of Clay
In My Room -> Beach Boys

Can you tell I've been feeling kind of melancholy? :P

Peace & Luv, Liz

Save Me - Remy Zero
She's So High - Tal Bachman
House on Pooh Corner - Loggins & Messina (and lots of other people, but they're the ones I happen to have downloaded)

Summerbreeze - Emilliana Torrini

Sorry to post the entire song but you need to see it all to appreciate it. Just a really fragile and haunting song that seems to always have a calming effect on me...

It might have been a while
Since you've been loved
Like you should be loved

It might have been a while
Since you've been kissed
Like you should be kissed

In tending loving arms
Might be something you miss

Well summerbreeze is blowing through your window
And summerbreeze is blowing through your hair
And something in your eyes that you cannot disguise
Don't tell me it ain't there

It might have been a while
Since you've been loved
By one who really loves you

It might have been a while
Since you could trust
That someone really cares

When people like us
Meant to go 'round in pairs

Summerbreeze is blowing through your window
And summerbreeze is blowing through your hair
Something in your eyes that took me by surprise
Don't tell me that it ain't there
