- Just got back from seeing Brave, and IT. WAS. AWESOME!

For once, me and my grandma actually agreed that this movie was awesome! Usually it goes:
Me:

That movie was awesome!
Grandma: *nods* Yeah, that was good. It was cute.
But now, it went:
Me: That movie was awesome!
Grandma: I know! I loved it!
- After reading through TV Tropes a bit, like I normally do, I was looking through the generic Pixar article and saw in the Heartwarming section, this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4a4MR8oI_B8And I can't help but smile, knowing that these people care. Let me just say, I'm straight as an arrow from Merida's bow, and a Christian. But, that doesn't mean that I will persecute you or won't be friends with you just because you're different, because God is Love and as a follower of Him we're supposed to Love EVERYONE, right?
I consider myself a bit different as well. I have Aspergers Syndrome, although I didn't know until a few years ago. At first, I was really upset as I thought my behavior was "normal": I obsess over little things that shouldn't matter, for instance. I sometimes, when I was younger, took things a little too far in terms of imagination and actually acted as if something were real when it clearly wasn't (which is why I was never allowed to get into Pokemon or Harry Potter), and I admit I'm very... picky about certain things (like what I eat) and am against change. I'm very detail-oriented, but I procrastinate as well, and if something doesn't keep my interest I tend to let my mind wander halfway between listening to the lecture and thinking about something else.
You are not alone here. I love you all!

Oh dear, did I say too much?
And, is it just me? or does Merida's mother, Queen Elinor, remind anyone of Valanice (another character who is better at running the kingdom than her husband. Not to say that Graham is a horrible King, but... he wasn't raised to be one...)?
