Why yes, we've got new frands joining the forum squad.

Currently we've got Snabbot of course, Dark-Daventry, Queene and Stika. Also, we've got Writerlove collaborating as well

I'm so thankful to have got such kick ass people giving half their time at all. Forums are re-organized and almost pretty damn put together, now if only we could match the CSS layout to go with that

What I be doings rite nao:
-Not sleeping, pain.
-Not sleping, not working either at this very exact moment. Just enjoying the forum.
-Not sleeping, thinking of everything at once - therefore, stressing out of course.
-Not sleeping. Maybe I should sleep, shame I just can't.

-Playing TSL. Started episode 1 again, and appropriately it's raining outside. I discovered a new line from Amy the Narrator when you click "touch" on the fire in Graham's room: he pulls his hand back and she (and me) laughs at him and calls him dense.

I can't sleep. Woke up, lots of pain. I seriously don't even know how I function as a human being anymore.

-putting off grading for the bajillionth time
-putting off actual research too because the work schedule in my head says I should finish grading first (my brain is a little messed up when it comes to such things...)
-thinking about getting a haircut this weekend (have a hair place in mind (THERE ARE SO MANY... IN WALKING DISTANCE FROM MY APARTMENT!! yeesh...), going to see if they do a charity donations thing, etc.)

-being a little sad b/c I have this idea for a cover photo for facebook, and I was going to do it with long hair (me playing violin, me doing a handsfree cartwheel, me crouched/seated reading from my Greek textbook)((problem is, I have this tendency to have beginner's luck with some Capoeira things: one of the first times we did handsfree cartwheels in class, I got all these compliments on how great it looked... now though, I have the usual problem everyone else does again... yeah, "cartwheel" with no hands but legs aren't high enough for it to be showy))

- GRRRR!! Why is it whenever I search for stuff about Brauggi on Youtube, I NEVER get anything good! They just go straight to talking about the bargain and then just give him the apples! I want to know what he says about stuff (like the Gem), but no~, that would be "boring". ARGH! I need RESEARCH dangit! I don't have these games myself, so I have to rely on videos and walkthroughs and wikias to help me along.

- Writing Chapter 5 of QFG1, which incidentally, contains Rico meeting Brauggi in it.

- Laughing at the forum memberlist. Check how many pages there are!

I don't think that means they're shutting down. I think it just means that the anniversary is coming up. Also, are you Soulforge89? Oh, wait - I see the link to your fanfic in the signature.

Does anyone know how loud a sound has to be to set off an avalanche?

It won't. You need vibration to set off an avalanche of a magnitude that can't really be produced by sound. You'd need an explosion of some sort to be able to trigger it. If you're asking for writing purposes, go with "loud enough to suit the plot."
