I think it's fair to assume the H&G show is extemporaneous and not necessarily a "canon" component of TSL... since it's outside of time, it can take liberties with causality. :P #thesethingshappen #etc

It won't be anytime soon, however, I can say that much. We do have people working on TSL right now, but there's a lot to be done, and many of us are focused on Cognition at the moment.

Episode 5 WILL happen, though, fear not on that point. :)

The first part of the quote sounds much like TSL isn´t important anymore. Why? Why don´t just finish one game and then start the next?

I´m starting to feel dissappionted. I know that theres a lot of work, but  this

This one is taking much longer becuase of it being baked from scratch by volunteers.
really sounds like po studios have enough of TSL. And that would be a pretty sad thing.
Believe me, TSL is a labor of love for the team! It's not unimportant, but they can't make any money from it. Cognition is the commercial project that is putting food on the table. :)

I somehow missed your reply, mimbutzki.

TSL is not forgotten or unimportant. We want to finish it, believe me, we do! But we're a small studio and we have limited resources and that means we have to set priorities. We're working hard on a commercial venture right now and a lot of our focus is there. Plus, the TSL team in particular is still largely made up of volunteers. Much as it was the case with the first 4 episodes, it'll be finished when it's finished. We don't have a date we can give right now, but that doesn't mean we don't want to finished or that we've forgotten about it.

Take your time with episode 5, you guys are doing a lot.

It's much easier to work on and make a free game with all of your spare time, when you're younger and have less responsibility.

It's been a long production time on TSL, and the team has aged - and gained the responsibilities that come with age and time.  TSL is dear to them, but there's only so many hours in a day, and there's only so much money that can pay the bills.  I know, for a fact, that TSL will be finished, but it'll take time - probably more than some would like.  But that's life for a free project.

Well-said, Bt, from someone else who knows :) and thanks Big C, and others!
