Say

Hello everyone!

These last couple of days I have heard some really sad news and it came from two very close friends of mine. Both of these lovely folks, have got family members that are going through a very dificult situation right now, cancer is an ugly monster. I personally know what it is like, and I wish to extend my hand on a dark time like this.

I come to all of you to put together our good energy and express our best wishes on this matter, since this was said to me privately I won't reveal whose family members they are (they are welcome to post about it themselves if they want to, they ARE posters here) but however do know that I will do my best to be the friend you guys need in a time like this.

Positive thoughts for both of you and your family <3 Big hugs, I love you guys <3

Thank you, Say.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of weeks ago. She's undergoing surgery next tuesday for breast removal.

Hopefully, everything will come out alright and she will be cancer free soon.

say a prayer for her.

My prayers & good vibes for your friends and family, Say & Cez, and that they can get back to or stay in good health and get quick & thorough treatment for what they're going through.

There's too much of this going around :( My sister-in-law's mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer--she's a lovely, wonderful woman, very healthy, certainly never been a smoker. Thankfully her diagnosis has been about as good as it can be, but even so, it really is scary.

My parents are seperating and we're moving in a few days. I've decided to live with my mom once she settles in her new apartment/house, but for the time being I'm going to be living at my grandma's.

We're putting some of my stuff in storage- my breyer horses for sure, which I think is fine. At least they'll be somewhere safe, right?

We're lending our dog, Zephyr, to a friend of ours named Jamie Zimont who will be quite happy to have him for a few months or however long it'll be. Good thing she loves labradors!

Some things I've finally had to get rid of, like my Young Rider magazine posters that I'm giving away to a friend at church who'll give them to her daughter. I'm giving away my Barbies as well, since I never play with them anymore, but I'm keeping all my stuffed animals with me. I've also had to get rid of the little green and yellow table and chair I've had since first grade, which makes me a little sad since it's a good table I use all the time.

These past couple of months have been hard for me, as you can imagine.

Pray for me, would you?

Can't somebody give me a hug please?!

It's pretty rough over here guys...we're having to make an impromptu trip to Texas...trying to get all the ducks in a row and figure out when and how we're getting there...

That reminds me of my brother-in-law's death last month... I couldn't fly home for the funeral. :( (Also, awkward because another post-grad who was in California came home this week because his uncle is in the ICU... makes me feel like I should have gone...)

Aww, Lork, *hugs*... I'm pretty sure it's for the best... bitter consolation, I know... but I've seen terrible family dynamics that have been perpetuated and allowed to do more harm than good for YEARS, and in one case at least, it was "for the sake of the children". You'll get through this and be stronger for it.

Will do. My mom went through that about 10 years ago - it can be really scary. :(
