Can't leave FBI Station

I believe I may have encountered a bug in the game because I'm unable to leave the FBI station.

When I try to use the elevator, I get a message saying I need to talk to John about the message I got on my phone.  Well, I've already done that.  When I talk to John there's no option to tell him about the message again, and trying to show him my phone won't work either.

I'm loving this game, it's been fantastic up until this point.  I've attached my save file and hoping someone can look at it and see if it's in fact a bug.

Load this replacement up and you should be good to go, you actually ran into a bug there that we didn't catch before and I'm sending a new installer out for later this weekend. At this point in the game you'll no longer need to go to the FBI Station for anything.

If you grab the one I posted above it should work the same for your situation, you're at the same point in the game and also don't need to return to the FBI Station any more now.

I thought of doing that but I noticed that hints were turned on in that save along with a few other differences from my save. To play it safe, I just modified my save and was able to continue playing. Thanks for the fast response, in any case!

Cool, that works too! I wasn't at my computer at the time you first posted and just wanted to get you back into the game as quick as I could so that was my first thought for you. Hope you enjoy the ending!

The new installer with this bug fixed has been available for a few weeks now. When did you purchase the game and from which site?

it looks like I have found the same bug. I can't leave the FBI station. Here's what I did before this happened:

1) After the interrogation Erica got the message on the phone
2) I checked the info on Antony and Amy on Erica's Computer and downloaded the fingerprint
3) I tried to leave the station, but Erica said she needs to talk to John about the message
4) I went through all the dialog options with John
5) I tried to leave the station again, this time Erica said she needs to take Sully with her
6) Now there is no dialog option for the message when talking to John, or any dialog option with Sully and showing the phone to John doesn't work

I bought the game yesterday from the Phoenix Online Studios store. My savegame is attached.

EDIT: I also noticed that the hint system still contains an entry for the Robert Goodman interrogation, "Need to know date". Is this OK, because I thought I already solved that part since I found out Antony's name?

Here's a replacement for you, no worries about the hint, just one we didn't have setup to be removed quite correctly. Just head from here to Longmore's Apartment, no need to go back to the FBI Station.

Thanks for the working savegame! I had a great time playing episode one and now that it's finished, I'm eagerly waiting for the next episode.
