MAC: Save games issue

Hi there,

I seem to have an issue with saving games. I'm playing on my MAC (10. and I save the games while playing the game and I can restore the game just fine.

Then today  I decide to carry on playing and the games are gone - this is the second time this has happened.

Not sure if this is a known issue or if you have a fix?

Where do the save games actually get saved? maybe ill just make a backup each time.

Its pain having to start the game over each time, especially when you are far into the game.

The path whereit saves the games on Macs is:

users/(username)/library/caches

I think I know what the issue is then.

Clean my mac application.

Basically its a utility that "cleans" your mac Temp files, duplicates and tada user cache files (its actually an option)

I reckon this is the cause, I will double check it.

Oh yeah definitely let me know what you encounter with that. We're mainly just letting the various systems store the files in the place they're most happy with, as we often had weird issues with saves not cooperating in The Silver Lining on various Windows platforms depending on where the game was installed. But that would be a bit of a problem if Mac's are going to be treated these like temporary files just waiting to be tossed.

Okay that is the cause. I have attached a screenshot to show you.

Painful but atleast now we know.

Maybe warn everyone incase they running the same thing or other similar kind of apps.
