IIRC, there's been one night, long ago, when I couldn't sleep so technically speaking I've been awake for two days. I usually don't go testing that. When I have accumulated enough sleep, and I go to bed before my sleep cycle starts, I might lay awake for a few hours, but I fall asleep eventually.
When I look outside I see no stars, so it must be cloudy. However, the rain (& wind) from earlier this week has subsided and gone away, and now there's light clouds, lots of sunny moments and temperatures rising to the mid-20's (°C and during the daytime).

By the way, since I'm the king of useless trivia, I figured I may as well post in here and answer the above question... The current world record for staying awake is 264 consecutive hours, which is around 11 days. :o

Me and staying up late don't mix!  I don't see how you guys do it at all.  Yeah, I've had a few bouts of insomnia...but I'm just glad those don't happen often anymore!

For the reason why they're considered a geek band, click on the kids link, then choose robot parade.

Without something like caffine, I don't see how someone could stay awake that long. I doubt they'd allow that(caffine) though.

You're not a wimp, Say... just that from what you post here, it sounds like you need to get more sleep and relaxation. Stuff like not sleeping well, too much stress, not eating well, etc., depresses your immune system and makes you more likely to catch an illness.

I know, that fixing that is all easier said than done ;P but seriously, if you run down your body too much you're more likely to get sick and then stay sick longer.

Legacy Realplayer

I don't like the new version of Realplayer, this is a link to their old ones.

Chinchinrox and Laura Bow have the same birthday as Paul Laurence Dunbar(Poet/Writer).

P.S. Anyone here ever use Navy(on this forum)? It looks strange on my monitor(as in, hard to read).

ShinyKnight

I don't use Navy, but how does this look? WHEEEEEEEEEEE! XB

Scary.

I'm glad they're different sizes, or I'd need glasses(although, I probably need them anyways). In other words, I thought it was an optical illusion for a couple of seconds.

From an episode of Frasier, a US televsion show(last episode was aired a few months ago). Martin, is Frasier's father.

Frasier:  Dad, you have got to stop with the graveyard shifts or you're going to start seeing apparitions.

Martin:  No, don't worry about me, I'm pretty tough.  Listen, I'd love to stay here talkin' to you, but all this sunlight is makin' me dizzy.

Frasier:  What, you don't like the sun?

Martin:  Us night-shift guys call it "the scare ball."

Yonkey

:P On that note, I'm going to bed.  ;D
