I didn't know where else to write this but I just wanted to say that one thing that is abundantly clear from the first two episodes of Cognition is how much the writers love Erica. She's such a rich character and so internally consistent (so far) that it's evident that a lot of thought and care has gone into penning her dialogue and constructing her world. She's an interesting balancing act of tough and feminine. Sometimes flirty, sometimes all business, sometimes confident and sometimes crushed by insecurity. We've seen her in some very vulnerable moments which is something video games in general have not had the best track record with. I also like that she's smarter or as smart as the player is most of the time and that just shines through in the attention to the small details. It helps, of course, that you found the perfect voice actress that can embody all these disparate elements and bring them together to make a whole character.

The only negative is that you still haven't delivered a character that matches her depth and personality although Episode 2 went a long way toward bringing Sully closer and I'm curious to see where he's at in Episode 3.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback Brain Stew, I'm sure that's the writers will love reading that  ;D

And I somewhat agree with you, Erica's FBI partners in episode 1 weren't really on her level, still need to play ep 2 :P

Yeah, we do totally love her! :) And Raleigh is PERFECT for her voice. As soon as we heard Raleigh's acting demo, Cesar and I were both completely sold on getting her to voice Erica.

I've just created an account so I could say how awesome this character (and story) is! But you won :P

So far, i was convinced that "The Walking Dead" game was the very best that i had seen from this type of games (and that is a looong list) but now..Cognition won on everything in my book and without depending on the success of a comic, a tv show AND other games. It has it all! Charisma, suspense, makes you edgy and calm in matter of seconds, outstanding music, intelligent, intense and sharp script, sensitive subjects..a jewell of adult entertainment.

So please! I know it's too soon to say it since we are only half way but this characters, this art style, this quite unique story line, this game, has so much to offer that it deserves a Cognition 2 in a near future. Hopefully, that is a fact for all developers involved but if not, just wanted to congratulate everyone for a job that, so far, it's more than fantastic and that it totally deserves to go on.

My english is way more than lame for writing but i hope that my (possibly MANY) mistakes do not steal merit to what I said

There's nothing definite planned, but if reception of "season one" is good enough, it's certainly possible. :)

Oh yeah, we'd love to make a Season 2! But it does largely depend on how well Season 1 does. We actually talk a little about that in our Digital Noob interview. :)
