This was published Sunday but then the site crashed and I've been busy. I present the final chapter in Andrew Greyson's story. He is faced with the ultimate sacrifice. http://www.postudios.com/fourwinds/?p=1639

Well, that was an unexpected turn of events - though I suppose it shouldn't have been.

I'm not entirely convinced that even this would be enough, though...

I hope you all enjoyed the Greyson stories. It was a lot of late nights for me agonizing in front of a huge spreadsheet deciding how to develop the Black Cloak characters as real, human (or fairy, for Lolotte) people while also staying as true as I could to the KQ lore of the characters. Above all else, I definitely didn't want to write anything where someone would think, "that's not what Mordack/Lolotte would do." That would've ruined the entire series. Since KQ never really went into the Egyptian themes I wanted to get the Riddles of the Sphinx in there and make Tanalore resemble Constantinople with Byzantine architecture. And man oh man did the art team deliver :)

When you mentioned that I should wait until the end of this arc to get some answers Katie, what exactly did you mean?

KatieHal

I was referring largely to this, since I knew this was coming soon to wrap up the FW storyline.

Who else thinks this would have made a better King's Quest 8 than MoE?
I have no mouth, and I must scream.

What, this entire arc?

...Yeah, I can see that happening.

Basically everything with Derek and Greyson. These stories have bad guys that are relevant to the King's Quest universe and, unlike MoE, adhere to existing continuity instead of tossing it out the window. Besides, if you play as both Derek and Greyson, that would continue the idea that KQ7 had where you could play as more than one protagonist.

Yeah! I can see it! :D

Someone should make a game with that idea!

Speaking of Derek, I wonder what he's doing right now...?
