However, there IS one scene that I've always liked in BI...

Okay, I haven't actually SEEN this scene in context, so for all I know, it's terrible. I've read about it though.

Valanice catches up to the ones who stole Alexander away. They manage to kill her and send her to the Land of the Dead. ...And then Valanice fights back from the dead, bringing herself back to life, and rescues Alexander.

That, to me in my head, sounds AWESOME! 

That, to me in my head, sounds retarded. The Lord of the Dead would have to be a real pansy to let Valanice of all people escape with her life. I bet he told her to make him cry, and then she used the comb on him and it was just too much for him.
