That is indeed a lot of adventurey goodness there. The problem would be to find the time to play 'em all.  :o

Indeed. Still, I'll take that over a lack of adventurey goodness. :D

Just played through The Blackwell Epiphany, the final game in the Blackwell series.  I'd say it's the best game of the series, the story, retro art/animation, voice acting, music, puzzles are all top notch.  4.5 out of 5 stars for me.

This is good news just as i decided to stop buying any new games for a while , the dlc on existing titles already paid for is coming out. Perfect timing.

And while it was delayed for a couple of weeks so not technically an April release, Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect came out on the 7th.  So far it's pretty great, especially in terms of Easter Eggs and the level of exploration you can put into it.  There are a lot of things to look at.

The Kickstarter-based Tesla Effect is a very good game in general, but especially good for fans of the series.  It does keep the classic Tex-feel while updating the visuals enough to keep the interest of the player, especially with the FMV sequences.  Plenty of Easter Eggs for fans of the series, a good story, soundtrack, campy but good acting for the content, good length with multiple paths, and some good puzzles mixed in.  The weakness of the game is the somewhat dated-looking main game engine and the brief stealth segments.  There is a sense of style that compensates for the somewhat lackluster graphical quality, but I've definitely seen better efforts from the Unity engine.  A very good game overall.
