Cognition Episode 3

Hi. Hope someone can help me please.  I'm in the Basement Study and it feels like I'm coming to the end of the game. When I try to discover letters on Le Pendu the game freezes and then exit for another look around it freezes.  Is there a patch for this game?  Many thanks

Are you getting any kind of error or is the game just sitting there with the spinning wait cycle not doing anything at all?
