Ep1-System requirements between Beautiful & Fantastic

Hi there,
I just bought the first 2 episodes and have started playing.
However on loading up the first time I was unable to start the game in 2560x1440 using "Fantastic" settings, I could hear the intro video and music for the menu screen, but my screen kept flickering between black and the desktop.  I force closed the game and restarted using "Beautiful" settings instead.
So I was just wondering what is the difference between the 2 that I can't start the game in one setting but I can in the other?

The main difference there would just be the amount of dedicated video memory available. Sometimes video drivers are a bit dodgy there as well so it probably couldn't hurt to check your video card manufacturer's website and see if they have any updated drivers for you.
