If you check out Art of the Week you can see a few of the locations and styles found in KQ9. So for now I'd just wait for a suffer icon sooner or later...

The quick & easy answer is: yes! There will be.

Will I be more specific? Noo!  

But as we've said, there are some places revisited, so some old architecture influences will be showing up, and there are a whole lot of new places. We want our locations and backgrounds to be unique and memorable, and with the awesome artists we've got working, it shouldn't be hard to do just that!

If your a fan of mythology you'll receive a delightful treat with KQ9. Have you ever played quest for glory? There's mythology and fairytales in that series.

Well, what was behind the fairytales in the KQ series was mainly because when Roberta created the stories for the games, she had just had her children and wanted to have the game be exciting for children, adults and inbetween. Which is why she created that lame, but amusing game: Mixed up Mother goose deluxe. I know most of this stuff cuz I did a report on Roberta Williams once in school.

I won't say to what level but the Legend of the Icarus is indeed (in some form at least) in King's Quest IX in the early chapters of the game

Actually, that exact scenario was played out in Quest for Glory V. And as with any true King's Quest game, it couldn't hurt to brush up on your mythology and fairytales. And while it isn't entirely necessary, if you want the full experience of the game, I'd definitely play the first 7. I myself haven't played KQ8, although I suppose playing that would help out a bit too.

Dang you guys! Everytime you throw a little hint like this, I get excited about playing the game all over again. I like the few-and-mysterious hint-things. Builds anticipations.

So here's my guess: Alexander discovers the wonders of... Red Bull?   Ah hah, so product placement enters the scene, I seeeee...

Here's my guess - Graham would be the one needing wings, so he can get around the Winged Ones city.
Alex would be have a flying spell. Or... would be in a place where you can fly without wings
