The key word there being "obviously."
I have no mouth, and I must scream.

Interesting interview on the new King's Quest, the official word is out: it's not a sequel, it's not a reboot, it's a re-imagining.

What if I told you a reboot and a re-imagining are the same damn thing?
I have no mouth, and I must scream.

I always wondered if there even was a difference.

... yeah, they kind of are >.>

I like Graham's expressions as he yanked on the rope bell.

What doesn't make sense to me, though, is that since the stories we're going to be getting take place between the original games, how it is either a reboot or a re-imagining? He said the stories are going to be ones we never saw, stuff set between all the original games and that the original games are still canon - That to me sounds more like an interqual than a true reboot or reimagining. A reboot is taking the canon and hitting reset.

I had a horrible dream last night where the new KQ game was incredibly easy, consisted only of physical puzzles such as lever puzzles etc, and each episode was like, 12 minutes long if you know what you're doing (not literally, but extremely short), the music sounded trite and lacked any of the original's charm, with Graham guiding the game along and telling you what to do. In the dream it felt like a child's game, it felt like a fairy tale game that had nothing to do with the originals. I'm worried about it coming off that way in real life :(
