It's bizarre how GrahamRocks is the one who got in trouble this time and not me. It's always me. I need to one-up her...but how?

I know...My Little Pony DeviantART pages!

What? I happen to like the show. A lot. Excited for season 5!

You're excused, since you're not male. Because all males who like My Little Pony are immature underdeveloped autistic bestiality-practicing monsters. At least, that's what the YouTube community would have you believe.

I would have you know, the YouTube community is made up of the most thoughtful, generous people the world has to offer. Anyone who disagrees should go kill themselves.

Stuff like this may have something to do with it:

Warning: Kinda NSFW. On the bright side, though, I literally can't look at the last panel without bursting out laughing.

Back on topic, in another thread in this subforum, dark-daventry has said, and I quote:

"Phoenix has all but moved on to commercial games and that means that volunteer stuff like TSL is being left behind. Episode 5 may yet come out, but a mac build for any of the episodes is probably unlikely at this point. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that's the way things appear to be right now."

Um, "Episode 5 may yet come out?" I'm getting conflicting reports on Episode 5 from different people on the staff here. Explanation, please?

I don't know when that was said without doing a search for it, but that's not correct. Consider my previous post in this thread to be the current, up-to-date and superseceding all others information on this topic at this point: Episode 5 has NOT been cancelled, it IS being worked on, and we WILL try to be better with updates.

Mac ports of Eps 1-4, however, are pretty much a no at this point though. That part is correct. Torque's too outdated and too much of a bear to work with, and we don't have anyone familiar enough with how to make those ports with us any longer.

(EDIT: I see the post in question came from today, and I've posted in that thread to clarify. Though we love Chris and all his support, he's not on the team at this time, so his information is a little outdated ;) )

Hi. Quick thought's on the new King's Quest 2015 by ODD Gentlemen. I watched a video recently an thought this is not King's Quest at all. It takes away from the atmosphere and story of King Graham an how he progressed through the years going on Journeys. I don't think I'd enjoy playing the game even if I were to get it. lol

Anyway, Back to TSL: Chapter 5. I cannot wait for this to be complete. It has the King's Quest Atmosphere in it an it really makes me happy just playing it. A very good story I play chapters 1-4 an I am just happy playing them. It's relaxing as well. Please make this chapter come true an provide a good ending an try to add as much story as possible including plot from the four wind's section. Including Andrew an Mordack lol. He's not a wizard I'd take very lightly he would make someone feel uncomfortable quickly

Okay, Shalkar, if you're gonna say stuff like that about the new game, you oughta explain why, because a LOT of people will disagree. Also, why would you buy a game you knew you weren't going to enjoy anyway? Well... I guess if you lost a bet, maybe.

Also, your thoughts on TSL episode 5- btw Katie said that Mordack and Andrew aren't going to appear in-game, and even if they were, you DO realize that TFW is meant to be the BACKSTORY to TSL right? Not the current events? -remind me of something I wish to do someday.

I don't think I've ever tried doing a proper review of TSL have I? I've expressed several times that I love the game (most likely to the point of annoyance by now), and have realized that it has flaws after playing it several times, but I don't think I have ever actually reviewed it or anything. Huh.

Honestly playing the first game of Kings Quest is kind of incredulous if you played any of the others...

Because for some unfathomable reason Graham is kind of badass... He seems to be capable of feats of heroism that even his second game counterpart wishes he could do.

Sure the new one makes him more "unlikely" in a manner... but it fits more then his original counterpart.

Will we get Ep5 after all 5 Chapters of KQ2015

Please make TSL a Re-playable worthwhile, it would be cool if you guys add scenes that was cut from each Chapter, i dont want Ep5 after waiting so long and just look at the pretty Upgrade and im done, thats it. Please consider stretching the TSL Eps longer like Chapter 1 of KQ2015 that is about 6 Hours of gameplay. How long are each Gameplay of TSL.

Work on TSL episodes 1-4 are finished. They're not going to go back and do major overhauls using an outdated engine just because the current KQ has branching paths.

...also, does your keyboard have a question mark? You should at least use this emoticon ??? when you're asking a question.

  • Engine Upgrade. As you all know, we’ve moved from Torque to Unity. This is a big change and means not only that everyone using the engine needs to learn how to use it, but also that many assets are being adjusted or even remade entirely to work with Unity.
Does this mean that the older chapters will be ported to Unity as well ??

If not, how do you intent the progression from Chapter IV to Chapter V and accompanying menu structures (e.g: Chapter selection) ??
It seems totally incredible to me now that everyone spent that evening as though it were just like any other. From the railway station came the sound of shunting trains, ringing and rumbling, softened almost into melody by the distance ...
