Quote from: Numbers on August 08, 2019, 05:24:07 PMWhat an enlightening discussion. At least we can take solace in the fact that King's Quest is not currently owned by Konami, and as such, is unlikely to be turned into a Pachinko.Personally, I don't really care if Episode 5 never comes out or not. I'm satisfied with the four episodes we got. Besides, my idea of how TSL's story should end and the actual ending that POStudios are planning are likely very different. In case you're wondering, my ideal ending would be
Graham and his family, trapped in the dream world together, have their magic sucked out of them, and then they resort to beating Shadrack's face in with their bare hands. Gore and brains everywhere, like something out of Daredevil. Graham then wakes up in the real world to find Valanice was cheating on him with Hassan. "I like younger men," she says, trying to excuse her behavior. Suddenly, Manannan and Alhazred jump out from behind a corner and say in unison, "Forget about us?" Then, Rosella, Alexander, Cassima and Edgar all barge into the room simultaneously and say "You!" when they see each other. This goes on for several minutes before Connor meekly enters and whimpers, pointing to himself, "Me?" And they say, "Not you! Get out of here!" And then Cedric flies in to report that Crispin has done some detective work and has finally come to a conclusion that no one could have ever guessed: Graham's family might be in danger. Graham, having had enough of this tacky nonsense, goes Super Saiyan and destroys the entire world. The destruction of the world splits open the fabric of space and time, and characters from Sonic the Hedgehog suddenly start appearing in droves. "Ew!" Graham mutters, as he sees these characters--furry abominations with one really big weird eye in their head with two pupils on either side--and then decides to destroy the world a second time. He attempts to say "I am inevitable" but because he's in Super Saiyan mode right now, he actually ends up saying "IIRRMM INIRVIRTBLR" instead. Then, he uses his omnipotent power to resurrect Bob Ross, Fred Rogers, Steve Irwin and Harambe, and they perform "Africa" by Toto against a landscape of burning Pachinkos. And yes, I was absolutely sober when I wrote all that, WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ASK THAT
