It took jon three whole years to convince me to cut mine (as you could see in photos my hair was longish),
but now i cut it shorter i love it...no more bad hair days

I'll have to get a photo of my new hair to show you....i don't think i have any yet but i'll get jon's dad's digital camera ...

I can tell you one thing, the submitting of art not just it takes time (because you have to select, enter info, etc) but sometimes the server takes time for it to "update" I remember that when I updated melancholy, took me (seriously) about 10 minutes for me to realize I had HALF the comments I thought I would ever have, Michael told me over msn all the comments I had already but I clicked refresh over and over and I couldn't see anything so, I suggest whatever your problem may be with the display of the files, give it a bit of time for it to show, try to have someone around in case like "please go here [insert link] and tell me if you can see it" and it there goes a whole day and you can't manage to figure it out or neither you or anyone else can see it, then you can post here your specific questions and I will gladly try to help you out, or else you can read the FAQ or contact staff but you will have to wait a few days before a reply.

Actually it is yellow, blue and red with 7 white starts, he's also got a cute signature there "to have a friend you first must be one"

edit-> I stand corrected I read again and it says

About the hair stuff, you know, I had it EVEN longer than what I do have it right now!, I used to have it till below my waist and I used to dyed it deep deep black back then, it took me like an hour to dry it (with a drier (sp?) obviously) and last year around november I cut it at my shoulder's level, many ppl cried that I did, many ppl just freaking loved it... it took me really quite a horrible moment of my life to make me want to change, but the thing is that I did not only cut my hair but also dye it in a different color, Im loving it now I may cut it soon, it is on the middle of my back again and I certainly don't want to have it as long as I did before

I used to have hair down to my waist...loved it and hated it!  Now it just keeps getting shorter each time I cut it!  I must say that shorter is easier to keep up with.  When I air-dry it, it only takes about 30 min!  Where as, when it was longer, it would take just that long with a hair dryer!  Say, while I love your hair (as does everyone else here), if you feel like cutting it is what you need to do, who are we to tell you to keep from doing so?  And again, my two cents, shorter is easier!

I also used to have hair down to my waist when I was a wee one... but it was awful, I just couldn't figure out at all how to wash it or brush it myself, so my mom had to, plus I was a tomboy to boot, so it was always a mess.

I got my first haircut when I was ten, up to my shoulders. Then each year I got it shorter and shorter... until I finally settled on my current cycle. Get it cropped close layers on the sides and back and fuller layers on top, let it get down to around my shoulders (takes about 3-4 months) then get it cropped again.

In some ways I love having shorter hair... it's quick to wash, dry, and style, and doesn't get in my way as I work. Also, IMHO a well-done short or medium cut is a much more flattering way to frame the face.

On the downside, there's not a lot to do with my hair style-wise... by time it gets long enough to pin up, it's also long enough to start getting in my way and looking flat, and needs to be trimmed again. And men like long hair better.

Yeah...hard to do things with short hair!  I settled on this hairstyle after I got 12 inches cut off and donated it.  Now I love my hair, not having to do much to style it (unless, of course, I'm going somewhere, then I try to make it look nice).  But I agree with Jeysie's downside.  It's extremely difficult to do anything with it.  I can pull the top half back, but I really can't pull it back into a ponytail.  *sigh*  I guess we get one or the other: easy to live with, or hard to do anything with

Had it about an inch or two past my shoulders when I got it cut.

Loved the long hair then, but I would never do it again.  Just wear my SayHair Wig when I feel like being Say for a day.

But breing a dude who likes to play with hair, I likes the medium-long hair on women.
(OMG Say's hair, Cat's hair, Kimmie's hair, Jeysie's when it was long, Jael's hair, Laura's hair [she's so hot! ], and Al's hair. )
