This might be a pointless post, but I think it's worth pointing out. The "view members" section of the forum, let's you see who uses MSN and Yahoo. MSN has the "online" icon, and Yahoo has the "offline" icon.

If there's not a way to let it show if someone's "online/offline"...

Should you not make it consistent?

I can't speak for the MSN icon, but the Yahoo! icon does show when somebody's signed onto *Yahoo!*, just as the ICQ icon shows if someone's signed onto ICQ. It has nothing to do with forum online/offlineness.

(Of course, I think that both only work with the official software, because I was signed onto Yahoo! with Trillian and it didn't show me on. Poo. I've seen it work for other people, though.)

Jeysie's right.  Yahoo and ICQ indicate your online status, but MSN doesn't.  At least, this forum doesn't have the capability to check it.

Hmm. I couldn't see myself on the forum, while I was using Gaim. maybe that's the problem...

I was using Yahoo Messenger, when you saw me. I think I'm going to just use Yahoo Messenger, in Windows.
