More like the Fifth Amendment (of the US Constitution). In this case, the "...nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself..." bit of it.

I'm pretty sure that's somewhere in our constitution too, but no Belgian I know, knows the Belgian constition by heart. ::)

Strange, I thought every country had a constitution, just like this one, but a bit different (ofcourse).
Anyway, I don't think the right to remain silent is in our constitution. ;B

We don't have a constitution. Laws are made according to the Declaration of Independence guidelines. Apperantly, we do have the right to remain silent - even our PM did that ;)
