Hi, I don't know if you all remember me, I was on the team breifly as a 3d artist but had to leave due to an assortment of reasons. This game looks like it's coming along really well. I look forward to its release.

I did a have question though

I was curious if the King Graham model in the screenshots is the final model that will be in the game? I'm not saying the model is bad, but it could be better in my opinion. The arms look a bit too long but the main thing I noticed was it's a bit inaccurate. Graham's tunic should be much longer and extend below the belt, the boots should be larger and the pants in the screenshot model look like blue jeans. In fact, the concept sketch on the gallery page is dead-on, and looks really good, but the model doesn't match the sketch. I appologize if this was brought up and considered before but I just wanted to point it out.

Welcome Kevin!  :D

I actually mentioned this to Rich when those screenshots were first posted on the site.  The answer I got was that he's not final there and finishing touches can always be made in the future.

Now, those screenshots were taken with an old engine called Crystal Space.  We have switched from it to Torque Game Engine.  Graham hasn't been re-imported into this engine yet, but the model of him has updated slightly since then.

I haven't seen the current textured version of him yet myself, but maybe I can get someone from the team to comment on whether or not this has been fixed yet. :)

Like Neil said, that is not the final version of Graham. He will be modified, as a matter of fact, the whole face is being modified, and Allert recently modified the arms. As for the texture, I'm sure it'll too go through changes :)

All screenshots are Work in Progress, so, don't fear.

Nice you hear from you again, Kevin :)

I don't think that that'll matter.  ;D I thought that Graham looked good (but that's just me)

Given that this thread is exactly one year old, I believe the first poster was referring to the Graham in the old screenshots. :P

Ooohhhhhh........

That's pretty funny. I just wonder if Allert van der Leij  knows that.

He does know that and he did make the changes.  You didn't notice the difference between the Graham in this screenshot and this one or any of the new ones?  ???

As much as I like Graham's original Adventures oufit I'd like to see
some more outfits on in for his new journey. I was thinking a nice earthy brown. His original sprites like Mario's in Donkey Kong were made so you could see the small charactor on black backdrops.

I think Graham will wear other outfits in the game. Take a look at the screenshots. I like the idea of him dressed up as royalty.
