Even worse when you close something that you thought you saved after hours of work, but really you didn't!

Linux(or at least non-Microsoft)=less crashes/crying

I've had one(Linux PC) stop letting me interact with it(still running, I just couldn't do anything with it), but never crash(I might just be lucky, but I doubt it).

Indeed, I can attest to that, Linux doesn't crash, KDE just reboots without any reason and Linux it freezes when you've got memory problems. But apart from that, Linux is peachy!

Too bad I can't use my Linux machine right now.  Mostly cuz it's too noisy and I've yet to get everything on it figured out. And I'm still sorting through my other stuff.

Nah.  Well, actually I think I did get a black screen back when I changed the video setting to a video card I didn't have...  but that was decades ago, when I had Windows 3.11.
