Hey, everybody!  That's right, we're still working on that KQIV remake.  And once again, I've been asked to share images of our new talk portrait for Rosella - this time, both the peasant and royal versions.  So, once again, if you have any feedback, please do share.

And if anybody's curious about our progress.. we currently have almost all of the character models finished - we're just missing Valanice and Alexander.  Unfortunately, the artist who made some of our models has been busy with other projects lately, but he tells us that since Alexander will be similar to Graham in certain ways, he'll take less time to finish than Valanice.

Once those two models are done, I believe we'll be working on the animations for the intro.

Our current game build is also playable, up to the point where
Rosella gets locked in Edgar's room.
Although there are a few bugs along the way, that still need to be worked out.  For instance,
Rosella can go down to the kitchen, to get her stuff back, but there's a bug that prevents her from leaving the kitchen after that, and we still haven't programmed the goons to try and stop her.
But yeah, while progress has been much slower than we'd prefer, the project is still going on.

Jack, these are great! Can't wait to see more.

It looks quite good!

A couple things: the eyebrow color doesn't look quite right. I assume it's supposed to be the same color (or similar) as the hair, but in a smaller frame it comes off looking more green than anything.

There's something else that's not quite right, but I can't put my finger on it. It's possible that it's just because her expression is blank and unnatural, but I assume that will change during gameplay.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Thank you for the feedback.  I don't know if you've played the demo that we released some years back, but I can assure you that the talking portraits will show various expressions - in Rosella's case, it'll show her happy, sad, scared, etc; depending on how she feels, while saying her lines.

Gotcha. I have not played it; I wanted to wait until the final release.
