There are definitely more Kangaroos in my state than on Kangaroo Island.

Don't let the name fool you, Kangaroo Island is over populated with Koalas.

Although recent bushfires may have changed that. $:-\$

You are right though, Kangaroo Island is not that far from me. We get over there via ferry.
