I just use Norton Utilities on my system for cleaning the registry, defragmenting, and fixing my hard drive. I don't care for the auto scanning feature.

I like everything to be manually done due to my expertise.  I am currently petitioning Microsoft to have a maintenace operating system on NT and not just a crappy cmd.com (command.com) prompt in a false emulated DOS (Disk Operating System) mode.  Computer Technicians used to joke in Microsoft early history that New Technology stood for Not There. IMO, 98SE is the best old-school operating system and the best operating Microsoft operating system out there.  I only have a little experience with early Apples and hardly any Linux experience.  I have also decided to stay with the dual-boot because I do not want to make life too complicated for myself.  LOL!!
