I have just upgraded our forum to the newest version: SMF 1.1 Beta 3!

There are a ton of cool new features to check out. I'll leave it up to all of you to explore. 

There are quite a number of things I still need to fix (i.e. KQIX smileys, post display, Who's Online colours, etc.) but other than that, you'll find this forum to be far superior than the previous one we're using.

And I think it's cool how you can still see the Mod's post ranking instead of it just saying "moderator"

I can actually disable that, but I thought it looks pretty kewl.

Cool new forums Yonkey, a lot of handy features (like being able to log in and come back to the same page).

One complaint/suggestion would be that the "sticky" icons are hard to disginguish from the regular icons without looking really carefully.

I'm not really sure what you mean since I always start from the index page, but I'm glad you like it!

Yeah I agree.  I didn't make those icons, but I'll change them to something more distinguishable.

Usually I don't log in unless I want to make a post. So before, when you went to log in from that slot on the bottom of the screen, if you were reading a thread, it would take you to the index of the board. Now it takes you to the same page you were already at.

I haven't been around long enough to have noticed as many changes as some, but those that I have noticed are great improvements. I especially like the new options for modifying your profile.
