Personally, I've never read any of these books, so I'll have to pick Other.  :-\

I'd want one based on Tamora Pierce's Alanna series.  ;D

While there have been many RPGs based around The Forgotten Realms, there hasn’t been any adventure games to my knowledge, so that's what I voted for.  :)

It's funny how you find you enjoy your life when you're happy to be alive.

Storm

Haven't read any of them either... so I choose Other - The Chronicle Of Narnia. It's the only book series I can think of right now that doesn't have a game made after it :-\

What "Other" series did everyone choose? I expected a host of "we want a Harry Potter game" posts :P

Louisiana Night

I wasn't thinking of a book series to make a game out of(it was just the only option I had).

If I had to pick one off the top of my head, I'd say the Hardy Boys(think Nancy Drew books, only with two teenage brothers as the main characters instead). You could make a two-player Adventure game out of those. ;)

Aurianna

Gotta go with Patricia C. Wrede's "Enchanted Forest Chronicles" (aka Dealing with Dragons, Searching for Dragons, etc).

I'd also have to second Tamora Pierce's Alanna series, and throw in her Wild Magic series.

I have read a few of them but I have always thought a good adventure game could be made based on Stephen Donaldsons Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. I would love to play that game!

Plus Donaldson has just released the first book in the third installment. The book is called Runes of the Earth and it is the 1st of 4 in what is The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.

For those of you who missed this series I can't say enough to express the praise I have for Donaldsons writing. Definately a fantastic read, cover to cover. The first two Chronicles are three books each so if you like this as much as I do you'll have 7 books to keep you busy right off the start.

Thank you! For me, it was between "The Immortals" series and the Alanna books. I can't remember the official name of the Alanna series though...

Oh yeah... the Immortals. Wild Magic was just the title of the first book. It's been a while. Was the Alanna series called the Lioness Quartet? It was something Quartet. I could go search in my closet for it, but I'm so lazy today. "Not Pron" has destroyed my mind for the day.

Moodyblues

C. S. Lewis' "Space Series" (Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, That Hideous Strength) have so much potential as adventure games - even more as movies.  There's plenty of ways to die, heh heh...
