I had my KQ collection since it first came out, so I have no idea what I paid for it.

As far as I know Farquhar's KQ collection came with KQS 1-7. I don't know if other versions were released before KQ7 or after MOE.

There was a KQ collection before KQ7. I think it had a small mention of KQ7, but other then that, it was just 1-6.

Yup, I got that one and bought MOE and KQ7 seperately. It did indeed have KQ 1-6 aswell as some little games such as King's Question's and Nick's Pick's, but it also had an interview with Roberta and Ken Williams in addition to the KQ7 trailer and the trailer for "The Schnibble" (or something like that, can't remember, been a long time).

The KQ Collection with 1-7 also had both Laura Bow's, Mixed up Mother Goose and some apple games with emulator

This is fantastic news!!

Lets hope this spurs other studios into releasing xp compatible collections of past games! I'm itching to play monkey island 2 since I never got the chance when it came out.

There is absolutely NO info on it anywhere apart from amazon. Its not even in vivendis coming soon games lol. Maybe it'll be a stealth release...

I say the new compilation will include AGDI's remakes of King's Quest 1 & 2. This was a part of the secret deal AGDI made with Vivendi to get permission to make their games
