What's up with Captain Saladin's paws?

  Umm yeah. I was just looking at this and wondering, "What the heck has happened to Captain Saladin's paws? (I am assuming that is Captain Saladin) I also noticed that the other dogs were like that too. I was also wondering: Doesn't Captain Saladin look more like a majestic collie.

In the screenshot, it looks like he's wearing gloves.  I don't remember if Captain Saladin had paws or hands in KQ6 or not.  Anyone have a screenshot with them?

Ok, so then it's settled that Captain Saladin never had paws. 8)  And now insead of black gloves, he switched to white.

As for the colour of his fur... I prefer the colours KQIX chose for him.  I believe they have the same kind of dark/light fur contrast in-game, except using that brown/golden colour instead of taupe/white.

I guess that Captain Saladin is Captain Saladin. I was also wondering if he still has the same stile of voice he did in KQVI

I haven't heard the KQIX Saladin yet, and I don't think I've ever heard the KQVI one either, so I wouldn't be the best person to ask.  Let me see if I can get someone else to answer this for ya.

I don't remember what Saladin sounds like in KQVI, but I can tell you that his voice in IX is AWESOMSORZ

In KQ6, I think he's played by Tony Jay, the same person who voiced the Arch Druid.  He also was the voice of Judge Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Shere Kahn in Tail Spin.  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0419645/

He has a very recognizable, powerful voice, but I'm sure whoever is playing Saladin now will do a wonderful job!

You mean, his fur would look different in the finished game? because, to be honest, it doesn't look so great in that screenshot - it lacks the 2-colour contrast that's the hallmark of a collie. That's why I wasn't sure it was Saladin the first time I saw that pic - I thought it was another type of dog
Another thing - maybe it's just the angle, but doesn't Saladin look shorter than Graham? In KQ6, he seemed as tall as Alexander, if not taller

And another thing - Graham's neck texture looks like it's stretched too far down... shouldn't those lines end at the base of the neck?

LOL, actually, now that you mention it, that may not even be Saladin... it might be just one of the Castle Guard dogs.
