Im seeing this at midnight tommorow at a special cinema staff preview screening

Cannot wait, although im still a little hesitant on the LOTR style uber battles...keeping my hopes high though!

I saw the movie a few days ago. It was pretty good, but don't expect a LOTR or anything.

Thought it was pretty crappy... at least the acting of the two boys... holy crap. Girls were believable.

That's what I get for seeing a movie geared towards a younger-than-me grouping.

And that SNL video was PRICELESS!

I saw it a couple weeks ago, and I liked it a lot! It wasn't perfect, of course (I thought Jadis's outfits were a little ridiculous), but, overall, the movie was faithful to the book.

If I remember right, Peter raises the sword because it seems like the proper way to address an important person. It comes off as awkward in the book and in the movie by design; Peter's not used to this sort of thing.

Well, I saw the movie and I loved it! I'm not a good judge of acting. I like the medieval costumes that the children wore. Yes, Jadis' outfits were ridiculous. I liked Lucy and her innocence and friendliness. Aslan was great. I liked the music and how the movie began, with the horrors of WWII.
