No glaring! The point is, TSL is free to play and has a free forum. :P

I was reading about the idea of VU taking the project as soon as it's done, forcing POS to remove the links to D/L, and marketing it themselves. I don't know how VU runs their business, but for a company to attempt something like that with a project this popular would probably be close to suicide.

Then I kept on reading...and noticed that POS is preventing this from happening. Somebody mentioned copyrighting 'original work' inside of a derivative work. Well, it is legal, and by all means, copyright your own stuff. That way, you can use it all you want down the road. What I liked was that since they have copyrighted all their own work, then VU CAN'T come in and take the project to market. They would have to receive permission from POS, which I doubt would happen (but oh, how ironic that would be), or they would have to re-create those aspects of the project before they could do anything. So....GO POS!! Keep up the original stuff  :D

No offense, but at one point KQ's sold over 3000 000 copies. This cannot be considered popular by those standards :P

Well, from my understanding, TSL can be brought under VG's wing, as the game has been granted a fan license, and they do have to evaluate it, and see whether they can give the green light to release it. So basically, I believe that POS can and could be brought under commercial license. But I could be very wrong. Only time will tell!

No.  All the update-related posts were split and moved to here. Please keep all update-related comments to that thread.

Thanks. :)
