I just found out about this. I think the villains in this one will be all of the previous KQ villains and Shadrack. Heeheeeh yaha, me so happeh it's back!

Hey everyone,

This is Matt Compton (mcomp72) of the Save King's Quest IX campaign.  I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of the fans who supported our cause.  It is only because of you that we were able to convince Vivendi to allow the game to continue.

I'm so happy for everyone at POS that all their hard work will not be in vein.  As I'm sure you can guess, I'm a big King's Quest fan, and really loved those games when I was younger.  I am so very happy that one day soon I'll be able to play The Silver Lining.

To POS -- thank you for not giving up after getting the C&D letter, and most of all, thank you for spending the last 4 years working on the game!  Your hard work and dedication to King's Quest are the reason we are all here in the first place.

I also want to quickly thank the other members of the Save KQIX team.  They all spend hours and hours spreading the word around the internet.  Their efforts were invaluable.  The campaign wouldn't have been successful without them.

Again, thank you to all of you.  I'm so happy that I could play a part in helping to save this game.

Digg.com is actually how we got a lot of visitors to the SaveKQIX site several weeks back.  Someone posted a link to us, and we got a lot of diggs.  Over 600, if I remember correctly.  We made the front page, and lots of people visited the site during that time.

You did it! thanks a LOT for getting us out of this mess. I can't wait to get back to work. We were getting a bit lazy, but now we have something really nice to look forward to again. Expect some surprises in the near future.
