Just checked my e-mail and saw the e-mail from Cat and the Newsletter.  I must say that I am extremely excited.  I cannot wait to play this game. 

Gald to see that VU came through and didn't shut down the project.  What a GREAT Christmas gift this is. 

Also, just want to comment on the peolpe over at sliverlininggame.com:  what a nice jesture.  Although I have no say so, I just wanted to extend my thanks.

Wow, I am just so excited.  This made my day.

I failed Calculus... meh... Phoenix Online Studios's website looks slick though! 

I've asked a lot of people I know if they've heard of King's Quest before...and I'm the ONLY ONE!!  WHY?!  I need someone I know to be as hyped as I am!!

I don't know if you really want to archive all the places that have mentioned the silver lining...but I just did search on google with the text...

and it pulled up around 200 hits...  Most of them actually are about the silver lining

Congratulations to everyone involved in this great project and in keeping it afloat!

I just found out about the project today (via the guys at Penny Arcade) and I am barely able to contain what can only be described as sheer jubilance.  (Usually jubilance is opaque).  In fact, I am barely able to even attempt to focus on work. 

The KQ series is what started me gaming when I was 5 yrs. old.  It was my favorite series growing up and holds a very special place in my heart.  Silver lining looks to be more than worthy of the title.  I only wish I had  known sooner so I could have been more involved!  At any rate, congrats again for the victory over the crazies who wanted to can the project and I can't wait to play!!!

and especially: The people at POS for doing this the "right" way.  I'm pretty sure that if they hadn't been so cooperative when VU told them to stop, The Silver Lining would never have seen the light of day.

i had never heard about the kqix project until 2 days ago. imagine my suprise to read all the news and hype about "the silver lining"! let me just say.....

it is going to be amazing. i wrote an email to vivendi yesterday to thank them. golly golly golly. i want to play it now! i am going to have to go into chryosleep til it comes out or my head will explode with excitement!

I'm an opera singer. I speak fluent italian. I was quoting "Nessun Dorma", because I thought it was a particularly triumphant aria and very fitting for the current situation. However, altering "Vincero" for "Vittoria" doesn't work, because you need three sillables.
